Venue Selected!

Hello everyone,

Alright - the consensus was LSU / Bama weekend for the Reeds' benefit. November 7th

AND NOW WE HAVE A VENUE!

Charles and Andrea Poole have offered their house to host the event which I think will be perfect. They live downtown Tuscaloosa in the historic district - easy walking distance to stadium and to the bars.

The Mentels' live next door as well and have offered the use of their house. We'll have tents set up in the front yards so you won't be able to miss it.

We are thinking initially that CBS will pick up this game at 2:30PM due to no other big games that weekend, which sets up for a 5:30PM start on the fundraiser. I encourage you to park on 13th street toward Queen City Blvd prior to the game.

We'll have unlimited BBQ and beer for $50/person. Mixers will be provided as well if you choose to bring liquor. Please mark this date and time and start spreading the word. I expect full participation for everyone in town for that game - which will likely determine the SEC West Champion - as we all know Ole MIss is still, well, Ole Miss.
